Paris, France, 31st March 2026 - Spy fans, get ready, as InnerspaceVR's Spymaster is preparing its first mission briefing for you! In the world of counterintelligence, where every second counts, Spymaster will be arriving as an Early Access title for Meta Quest and SteamVR on 7th May, 2026.

The world is in danger, and only the elite operatives at NODE can stop the impending doom. The world has become one giant surveillance state thanks to Protocore, and its mysterious CEO, PROTUS. With governments having disbanded their intelligence agencies to rely on Protocore's unique and ever-watchful worldwide surveillance system, NODE is the last independent spy agency. It is up to you and your team to uncover PROTUS' nefarious plan before it's too late.

Luckily, you've got the skills and technology to do so, thanks to your secret weapon, the C.A.S.S.E.T.T.E.

Spymaster is a high-stakes action-narrative VR game filled with exciting set sequences, puzzles and humour. Step into the shoes of operatives TIC, Mulligan and OSCR, each with their skills, gadgets and irreverent dialogue. From NODE's secret command centre hidden inside a trawler boat, you'll be assigned missions taking you all over the world.

As each mission begins, the C.A.S.S.E.T.T.E. will give you an overview of the location and objectives. You can then select your operative and conduct your assignment with complete freedom. This can range from a subtle infiltration to running-and-gunning across rooftops. Most importantly, you'll need to be aware of what each operative brings to the mission. Missions can't be completed solo, so you'll need to utilise teamwork as you coordinate multiple operatives.

Crucially, Spymaster's Temporal Replay System enables you to rewind time with a flick of your watch. With this state-of-the-art device, wherever you are during a mission, you can rewind all or part of your actions. Adjust your position to hand important items between operatives, time a shot differently or smooth out a run. Timing is everything, especially when you control it.

"It all started with a native VR experiment: recording organic avatar actions. We were actually using this technique for animation placeholders long before The Last Clockwinder hit the scene. That seed grew into a core mechanic—assisting your past self to solve puzzles," says Jeremy Moirano, Spymaster Game Director. "As we refined the recording system, we focused on making every action feel 'juicy' and tactile, naturally evolving the game into the high-stakes spy thriller you see today."
