Nether is a first-person urban survival gaming experience unlike any other. Nether forces players to make quick life-saving decisions in an unforgiving environment. In this post-apocalyptic urban world, death is waiting around every corner, at the top of high-rise buildings, and in the grasp of powerful teleporting creatures known as Nethers. To navigate this high-tension environment, players must use skill and cunning in order to obtain food, weapons, supplies, and other resources necessary to survive in a desolate and dangerous city. Players can choose whether or not to team up with others or go at it solo against the Nethers, other players, and unpredictable, treacherous world objectives. In the end, players must decide if they will Prey or Pray.

Key Features:

A vast and vertical urban/city environment, where players can access nearly all of the buildings, including multi-story skyscrapers, as well as underground subway systems
Tribal Battles – Players can join one of 16 tribes to battle for control of the map, earn a new skill tree and maintain team bases (Available late February)
Creature Mode – Users can play as a Nether and gain advantages in speed, camouflage and combat, but only after solving the secret to how to transform
Crafting/Scavenging – Players can create weapons and other survival items, which can be used for battling enemies or traded in Safe Zones
Community chosen content, such as motorbikes and a wing suit
Objectives which include, recapturing a fallen Safe Zone, A Surge of creatures lead by a Reaper that must be stopped, a Supply Drop, and an Escort mission, where users have to bring a heavy box with a glowing beacon to Safe Zones
Meld of PvE (player versus environment) and PvP (player versus player)
Seven dangerous enemy types with different skills and behaviors
Survival needs, such as hunger and stamina that players will need to maintain
The need to fulfill world objectives, coupled with scarce resources encourages emergent and cooperative gameplay
Safe Zones where players can purchase, sell, trade and store items
