Hier das Wesentliche als Auszug: Rockstar Games expects to introduce a variety of titles within the next 24 months, with several based on exciting new brands. New brands will include The Warriors™, a game being developed by Rockstar Toronto, based on Paramount Pictures’ classic 1979 gritty gang drama of the same name. Additionally, Rockstar North, the developer of the Grand Theft Auto series, is currently developing an original product entitled Manhunt. Rockstar will continue to focus on the creation of groundbreaking original content for console video game systems, as well as expand its proprietary intellectual properties, including extensions of its Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, Midnight Club, State of Emergency, Spec Ops and Smuggler’s Run brands. Additional products planned for the next 12 to 18 months include sequels to the popular Hidden & Dangerous, Railroad Tycoon and Serious Sam franchises for the PC from Gathering of Developers, and the launch of several new brands, including Great Escape, a game based on the 1963 hit movie staring Steve McQueen about the true story of a group of POWs who mount a daring escape from a Nazi prison camp, and Conflict Desert Sabre, the sequel to Conflict: Desert Storm from Gotham Games.... Mr. Eibeler commented, “We are very pleased with the strength of our product pipeline going into fiscal 2003, as well as the robust performance of our expanding catalog of products. The Company has invested in a variety of compelling new products that we believe will ensure continued growth of our business. With the success of our Grand Theft Auto and Max Payne franchises, this year’s acquisitions of Angel Studios and Barking Dog, management additions to our Gathering of Developers PC label, and the establishment of our Gotham Games publishing label, we believe Take-Two is strategically positioned to further increase its publishing market share in the interactive entertainment industry.”
