The Sandbox Alpha Season 3 launches today with most experiences to date
Greatest demonstration of interoperability yet enables over 140K NFT owners 
to integrate external Web3 assets as avatars in The Sandbox
 
The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming virtual world and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has launched Alpha Season 3, its largest yet with 98 experiences over 10 weeks and new content added daily.  Solo and multiplayer experiences will be available starting today with 27 from brand partners, 17 from The Sandbox, 12 from user-generated content (UGC), 16 from Game Jams, and 20 supported by The Sandbox Game Maker Fund. Upcoming experiences will be revealed at register.sandbox.game/, where anyone can register to play for free.

The Sandbox enables a new form of Web3 gameplay where players can also be owners while also engaging directly with famous brands and IPs – play in a Rabbids experience with a World of Women avatar that has in-game utility unlocked through The Sandbox’s commitment to open metaverse interoperability. 
 
Throughout the Season, players can level up, participate in Raffles to earn Alpha Season 3 Passes that grant a chance to win up to 500 SAND, climb the Leaderboard, and earn SAND rewards. Players can also collect experience points called “Ethos Points” by completing quests to earn Raffle tickets for a chance to win an Alpha 3 Pass. Additional details can be found here.
