Today at Nokia Developer Day, held in conjunction with Mobile World Congress, Lunagames, a leading developer and publisher of mobile entertainment, announced it will launch more than 20 games and apps on Nokia's new X family of devices. Key titles will include Highway Hei$t, Gems XXL 2, LA Skater - Roller Rivals, Stuntman Steve and Dance Booth.
"Today Lunagames is seeing incredible success on Nokia Asha devices with more 150 million downloads in the Nokia Store to date,” said Richard Hazenberg, CEO at Lunagames. "Now we're extending the reach of our key apps and games in emerging markets even further by going all in on the Nokia X platform - with more 20 of our top titles launching on the platform.”
This includes Lunagames latest title Highway Hei$t, an arcade racing game that runs on the Nokia X software platform seamlessly.
“Not only are the Nokia X family of devices very affordable, but also a very easy to develop for, continued Hazenberg. “Our first game Highway Hei$t has been ported within one hour and is already available in the Nokia Store! Furthermore, Nokia's proprietary low barrier direct carrier billing system will ensure good monetization of our apps and games.”
Lunagames plans to launch her entire smartphone library within the next 3 months and will offer continued support with upcoming titles.
