Square Enix announced the release of Dreams of Ice (Patch 2.4) for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for Windows PC, PlayStation3 and PlayStation4. As the game’s largest content update to date, Dreams of Ice offers Eorzeans the chance to continue the main scenario story, the final chapter of the Coil of Bahamut story and raid series which features the most difficult content ever released, as well as the introduction of the highly anticipated rogue class and ninja job.
Dreams of Ice (Patch 2.4) brings new and expanded stories, new locations to explore, a new Primal battle against Shiva, the Lady of Frost, and an investigation of the once-thought-impassable Snowcloak ice dungeon; plus new hard mode dungeons, housing wards, PvP ranks, and other featured content.
Story:
The aches of the realm never cease, and Alphinaud, Scion of the Seventh Dawn, has founded the Crystal Braves in a bid to grant her succor. In their tireless efforts to protect Eorzea and her peoples, the Warriors of Light now aid this fledgling company in uncovering a plot that could otherwise bring the realm to its knees. What dark forces stir in the shadows of Eorzea?
