Today, Reflections, a Ubisoft studio, released a dev diary exploring the inspiration behind the evolution of Grow Home, the quirky and new experiential climbing game where players are free to explore a beautiful open world full of floating islands, majestic caves and waterfalls. Players take on the role of BUD (Botanical Utility Droid), an excitable, child-like robot sent on a mission to search the galaxy for plant life that can oxygenate his home world.
In the video, players meet the team behind Grow Home, learn about the challenges and rewards of creating this experimental game and understand the passion and detail that went into the game’s design and artistic style.
Grow Home is now available for download via Steam on Windows PC for $9.99. For more information about Grow Home, please visit www.growhomegame.com. For a more in-depth look at Grow Home, please visit the UbiBlog for an interview with Pete Young.
