Devolver Digital Films announces the release of Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie on the Steam Store, on Tuesday, April 28th
The comic sci-fi/adventure film features the popular "Angry Video Game Nerd" character from the eponymous comic web series created by and starring James Rolfe; the feature-length film follows The Nerd on an adventure through the urban legend surrounding the mass burial of millions copies of the Atari 2600 video game E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, proclaimed as the "worst video game of all time.”
The film will launch for a sale price of $4.79 (40% off the title’s regular Steam Store price of €7.99), worldwide and DRM-free. The title is the second feature film Devolver Digital has released on the Steam Store platform, which is known primarily for its dominance as the world’s most widely-used computer game destination.
