Square Enix and Disney have made some pretty big announcements today. First off, there's Kingdom Hearts III, which in addition to bringing back Sora and friends, will feature the world of Tangled, among other new settings. You can check out the trailer below, and there's a bunch of stuff on the Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel, too.
And on top of that, Kingdom Hearts fans were treated to another announcement, a free-to-play mobile game called Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ (read as Unchained “Key”). Check out the announcement trailer here.
Official description:
In Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, players will uncover story elements from the earliest parts of the series’ history, as well as from the highly-anticipated, upcoming Kingdom Hearts III. For the first time in the series history, players will create their very own Keyblade wielder and adventure through Disney worlds with beautiful and stylized art, while interacting with a rich cast of memorable Disney characters.
You'll also be able to customize all kinds of stuff, collecting, fusing, and evolving items to customize your attacks, and team up with other players in guilds to take down giant Heartless bosses. There's also a new Avatar system with a wide range of outfits to choose from.
