ArenaNet has announced a fan and press conference titled ‘Guild Wars 2 – The Journey Ahead’ scheduled for Saturday, 29th August, at PAX Prime in Seattle. ArenaNet president and co-founder Mike O’Brien and Guild Wars 2 game director Colin Johanson will host a special presentation with major announcements setting the roadmap for what’s in store for current and future players of the award-winning MMO and its upcoming expansion, Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. The event is scheduled for 6130 p.m. EDT (6:30 p.m. BST) in the PAX Prime Hydra Theatre at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle, and will be livestreamed on the official Guild Wars 2 Twitch channel.
In addition to livestreaming the event, ArenaNet will host popular Guild Wars 2 Twitch streamers on its channel prior to and after the presentation. While the presentation is being livestreamed in English only, fans can tune in to the Guild Wars 2 Twitch channel to see pre-show speculation from popular streamers in English, German, French and Spanish starting at 12:30 p.m. EDT (5:30 p.m. BST), and stay on after the presentation ends for recap and analysis in all languages. Also at PAX Prime, ArenaNet has partnered with performance PC peripherals maker Corsair to bring Guild Wars 2 to the show floor. The studio will have demo stations and giveaways, with studio staff on hand, at Corsair booth #3342 during show hours from Friday, 28th August, to Monday, 31st August.
