The date of this announcement is not accidental – today marks exactly 57 years since infamous Dyatlov Pass Incident, which served as our main inspiration during the creation of Kholat.
It was the event that took the lives of 9 Russian students, hiking the Ural Mountains, on the night of February 2nd 1959. The real cause of this tragedy is still unknown, with many hypothesis arising during the years.
On this occasion we have prepared a special interactive map, showing the course of events of this fatal trip.
And that’s not all - starting from 3 AM PST today - Kholat gets 57% discount for 57th anniversary on Steam.
Created by IMGN.PRO and narrated by Sean Bean – Kholat is an exploration adventure game with elements of horror inspired by the event known as Dyatlov Pass Incident. The player will plunge directly into the boundless scenery of the inhospitable Ural Mountains with the task to find out what really happened.
Kholat has its original PC release date on June 10th 2015 via Steam & retailers.
