Fatshark are proud to announce a new and insanely challenging difficulty mode Death Wish for their hit game Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide.
“For a long time we’ve been worried that Vermintide might be too easy”, says Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark, “and based off the signals we’ve received from the community this seems to be the case. We’ve therefore been hard at work designing a difficulty mode more challenging than anything you’ve ever played before.”
In the Death Wish difficulty, everything has doubled - nay, tripled. The Skaven have reinforced their army and are out for blood and vengeance. Gone are the days of Victory Screens and Loot Rewards. Brace yourselves for a wall of Ratling Gunners, a pack of Rat Ogres, and a literal army of Gutter Runners.
Watch out, because the rules have changed… and certainly not in your favour. This new difficulty will be released for free to all current and future owners of Vermintide. Gameplay Programmer, Tom Batsford, has but one piece of advice on this new update: “Prepare to Cry”. Watch the new Death Wish trailer below.
