Fans who tuned in last night for the latest installment of “The Star Log” live stream series were treated to new content and information for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. Star Log #2 focused on the game’s battle system, featuring a new battle system trailer and a special video message from producer Shuichi Kobayashi. Square Enix also showed off live gameplay that highlighted short and long range attacks, combos, character switching and much more.
The second Star Log episode in the series recapped the game’s recent Collector’s and Day One Editions announcement which revealed the title’s release date of June 28, 2016. Footage of the Kingdom of Langdauq and two new character spotlight videos of the powerful magician Fiore and gruff Special Forces veteran Victor were also featured. Square Enix revealed that North America players will have the first hands-on opportunity with Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness at PAX East in Boston, April 22-24.
The Star Log #2 broadcast is available to view on the Square Enix YouTube channel.
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will be available for the PlayStation 4 on June 28, 2016 in North America for $59.99. The Collector’s Edition is available exclusively through the Square Enix Online Store for $109.99 and the Day One Edition is available for $59.99.
