A fresh, new update for the Orcs Must Die! Unchained open beta launches on Thursday, April 21 with a new hero and a new map. The crown prince of Arctos has emerged from the great white north to fulfill his elderly father's oath to protect the Order. His name is Tundra, Oathkeeper of Arctos and he's the newest hero in Orcs Must Die! Unchained.
Along with a new hero, the new update brings a frosty new map called Avalanche. Tundra and his grizzly warriors have iced down Eventide Fortress to protect it from invaders. Unfortunately, the Unchained have adapted to Eventide Cove's new frigid climate.
Coinciding with this new update, Robot Entertainment will be bringing Orcs Must Die! Unchained to PAX East in Boston, April 22 to 24. Gamers visiting them at booth 8125 will be able to play Tundra and other heroes in both Survival and Siege modes on the show floor. Robot will also be revisiting their ever-popular art drops at the show, and gamers who come by the booth will also be able to register for a free Tundra War Chief skin.
Orcs Must Die! Unchained is now in open beta, and gamers may download the game from Steam or from OrcsMustDie.com, create a free account and start playing immediately.
