So Ubisoft has released several showcase videos for their upcoming hack-and-slash title For Honor, which seeks to answer the age-old question “What if a knight fought a samurai, who fought a Viking?”

Kensei Trailer
Watch new For Honor gameplay, and meet the Kensei of the Samurai faction. This hero, along with five others, will be playable in the upcoming alpha.

History has not been kind to the Samurai. After losing their homeland to sea and fire, the nomadic warriors have ceased their wandering and have rebuilt themselves a new nation under a mighty Emperor.


Raider Trailer
Description: Watch new For Honor gameplay, and meet the Raider of the Viking faction. This hero, along with five others, will be playable in the upcoming alpha.

Previously thought to have vanished, the Vikings have returned to plunder, take new lands, and reclaim their ancient homeland in the north.



Warden Trailer
Description: Watch new For Honor gameplay, and meet the Warden of the Knight faction. This hero, along with five others, will be playable in the upcoming alpha.

Scattered for centuries, the Knights have begun at last to gather again under a single banner: that of the Iron Legion.

Consumers will have their chance to playtest For Honor from September 15-18 with the For Honor Closed Alpha. The development team will be looking for feedback from gamers during the Closed Alpha to carve the best gaming experience possible when the game launches.
