From Bandai Namco Entertainment America:
Leading interactive entertainment publisher and developer, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., has released Dark Souls III: The Ringed City, the final downloadable content expansion for Dark Souls III, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for PC. This new adventure has players chasing after the Slave Knight Gael to the literal end of the world as he searches for the Dark Soul of Humanity. Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is also announcing today that it will release Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition on April 21, 2017. This complete Dark Souls III set contains Dark Souls III as well as both downloadable adventures, Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City, into one physical package for the PlayStation 4 system and Xbox One with a MSRP of $49.99.

At the close of the Age of Fire, as the world ends and all lands converge upon themselves, a lone adventurer descends into the madness of the earth and uncovers the secrets of the past. As players make their way to the fabled Ringed City they will encounter ancient beasts, a new cast of sullen NPCs (non-playable characters) teetering on the edge of insanity, new armor, weapons, magic, and at the bottom of it all, a long lost city filled with deadly horrors for players to overcome.

Team up and take down fellow Ashen Ones with updates to Undead Match, a dedicated multiplayer mode first found in Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel. Dark Souls III: The Ringed City also provides two additional maps and an all-new feature enabling players to team up with up to two other friends has been added for fans that enjoy battling each other in feats of wits and strength. Dark Souls III players who own either Ashes of Ariandel or The Ringed City will be able to play the new content found in Undead Match.

Dark Souls III: The Ringed City closes out the epic Dark Souls III saga with a spectacular piece of content that recalls elements of the entire Dark Souls series,” said Jason Enos, Director of Brand and Latin American Marketing for Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. “Players will be treated to new monstrous enemies, challenging locations, fearsome bosses, and an exciting story that will continue to have fans deciphering lore points for months to come.”

Dark Souls III: The Ringed City is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB and is available digitally at an MSRP of $14.99 for the PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel is also currently available digitally for $14.99 on the systems listed above. A season pass for Dark Souls III, which includes access to Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City, is available for purchase digitally for $24.99.
