From Mad Otter Games:
The developers of Villagers and Heroes, Mad Otter Games, will revamp how characters level up in their MMO to allow for more flexibility when creating a character in the brand new expansion pack Starfall. This system will not only make players stronger, but more varied as well. New screenshots were also released for Starfall, which you can view below.
Each class will now have twelve talents that fall under three specializations. All of these talents are passive, giving your character various powers. Talents can be leveled up once every level (compared to the original system of leveling a talent once every five levels). Depending on the talent, it can be leveled up between five and 35 times. If you completely level up a talent, you'll unlock a special ability called an Ultimate. These Ultimates can be either active or passive, helping you in any tough fight.
For example, if you play as a Wizard, you can unlock a talent under the Fire specialization called Incinerate. This talent makes enemies hit by your single-target fire spells deal 10% less damage. If you level that talent completely, you unlock the Ultimate Pyromaniac. This Ultimate lets you cast fireballs without using any mana. These allow for a lot more customization, letting players create a character that's right for their sort of playstyle. Add this with the ability to reset your level through a Rebirth and twelve possible Ultimates, and you have many ways to mix and match your new talents. Along with these new talents, each class will receive two unique stats that increase the power of your feats. Interested players can explore the new Talents through a browser-based talent builder viewed here.
The Talent revamp is but one of the numerous changes that is coming to Starfall. Other notable features include improved loot systems with stat boosts and Runes, new zones of content, a revamped world map, new items slots, and better UI. Villagers and Heroes: Starfall will be released for Android and PC for free very soon.
