On one hand, sweet.
Final Fantasy IX is a good game. It's what the kids call "a lot of fun".
On the other hand, ANOTHER re-release? I guess gamers can decide whether they want more of these or not by "voting with their wallets" as it were, but I'm not sure how people do it. It's literally my job to play games, but I barely am able to keep up with new titles, let alone replaying a 50 hour title from two decades ago.
Side Note: Not sure about Square Enix's claim that FF IX is "consistently regarded as among the best Final Fantasy titles". I mean, it's amazing, I know, but how many of these you wanna throw in the category of "among the best"? You got FF III, FF VII, FF XII, Tactics....seems like once the screaming died down, pretty much every Final Fantasy would be in there.
But I digress...
Check the features below, and see if you wanna pony up the dough. The game will be $16.79 till Sept 26th, then it will jump to $20.99. Cough up for that nostalgia!
