This is pretty interesting, even though it's not like you haven't played as a member of the Empire before.
Check out the trailer, which features Commander Iden Versio getting all kinds of bummed that the Emperor is dead. And I get it, he's like the supreme leader and all, but she seems genuinely upset that the Emperor is dead, like he was a personal friend.
The dude has destroyed entire planets. Entire PLANETS. Not even Hitler was that big of a dick.
And now, it's like the Emperor dies and suddenly everyone was his best friend. Everyone's all like, "One time, I was sick and The Emperor was making his rounds, and he saw me and he said "head home, i'll send up some soup. It was the best soup of my life. He was a great man".
And I'm just sitting here saying "Dude, for one, you know damn well the Emperor didn't make no "rounds". That geriatric vampire just hung out in that slowly swiveling chair all day. And no one sent your ass any Emperor soup. I saw the Emperor choke a guy to friggin death for taking up too much of a walkway, and now you're telling me he's going to his personal kitchen and whipping up a batch of soup? I don't think so."
I know you aren't supposed to speak ill of the dead, but come on. No one liked the Emperor. He was a total dick.
The trailer is beautiful and looks like a great angle story-wise, but I'm still pretty hung up on the whole "Boo-hoo, the Emperor is dead" thing.
Man up. Become a Sith. Get Good.
