Geez, EA. You just can't stop screwing the people who buy your games, can you?

Someone crunched the numbers to see just how expensive it would be to unlock all the characters and goodies in Battlefront II and came up with some hard numbers. Here's the post below:

"I can't do anything but laugh. This is so hilarious yet so sad all at the same time. Holy shit EA. Really?
There is a grand total of 324 cards. Upgrading these will require a total of 155,520 crafting parts. This requires opening a grand total of 3,111 loot crates which will require 4,528 hours of gameplay.
The 600 credits received from a hero crate is worth 27% the cost of a hero crate. This is equivalent to 30 crystals. To account for this, I reduced the cost of a hero crate from 110 crystals to 80 crystals. 12,000 crystals can be bought for $100.

Opening the required 3,111 loot crates requires 248,880 crystals. If you only purchase $100 crystal packs, this will cost $2,100.

On one hand, I would like to laugh, because everyone gets all bent out of shape about the company, then they buy their games anyways. The prevailing mentality is "This is bullshit! They can't do this! I hate this company. I mean, I gotta buy Battlefront though..."

So in that regard, quit your crying. You knew walking into this knowing that EA does not give a shit about us and they're only in it for the money. Also, who says you have to unlock every little thing?

On the other hand, man....screw you EA.
