Soldiers of the Universe, a new FPS from Rocwise Entertainment, is out for Steam today. Inspired by the Turkish war on terror in the Middle East, SOTU is focused on bringing awareness to current, real-world problems in Turkey through an exciting and emotional story-driven campaign.
Soldiers Of The Universe's story-line revolves around a secret organization in The Republic of Turkey, called the "Akinci Warriors", fighters who specialize in clandestine military operations. SOTU's protagonist, Hakan, takes his father's place as the head of the Akinci warriors. Relying on his three friends, his military training and his science background, Hakan strikes back against the men terrorizing his people.
The Rocwise team had this to say about their new title:
"We are very proud of our achievements with the development of Soldiers of The Universe. In the early-access stage of our game, we have worked closely with our community to further refine and better our title. In our most recent update, we've implemented 4-player co-op and a new Operations Map to the game. We strive to listen carefully to every piece of feedback we get, and we are working constantly to make our game the best it can be.
We are dedicated to make the best game we can, but our biggest goal is to draw attention to the terror problem in the Middle East and around the world. We want a terror-free world for all, and we want this theme to remain in video games only. "
