Hello Neighbor released today for Steam and Xbox One. The game centers on a kid (you) living next door to a suspiciously creepy neighbor. You decide you need to figure out just who you are living next to, so you begin to break into his house, searching for clues as to why this guy is so shady.
The stealth-horror puzzler from Tinybuild features an adaptive AI that will try to outwit and anticipate everything you do. So, for example, if you keep breaking into the house from a certain window, you might find a bear trap under it next time. Or if you keep waltzing right through the front door, your neighbor will set up perimeter cameras. The house is labyrinth-like, full of traps, dead ends and corridors, so if you get spotted, there is a good chance that the neighbor, who knows the house better than you, is going to head you off at the pass and take you down.
In addition to the game release, Tinybuild has also released some schwag to go with it. They seem pretty confident in their game to make plush dolls and so on, so keep an eye out for our upcoming review, and take a look at their merch here.
