Despite winning "Action Game of the Year" (read who else came out on top here), and getting pretty stellar reviews, Wolfenstein II wasn't the commercial success Bethesda was hoping for. Perhaps their new DLC, titled "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, will bring more people into the Wolfenstein fold.
The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe features a different protagonist, former professional football player Joseph Stallion (not to be confused with Joseph Stalin). Using his charging "ramshackle ability", Joseph can barrel through legions of Nazis as he traverses the devastated ruins of Chicago, all the way to space! This is the first in a series of three DLC packs, each of which will feature a new, unique hero.
I like the ability to play as a different hero in each DLC, and I'm hoping that this will open up the game's perspective, since you will be able to see different viewpoints into the world of Wolfenstein.
