The multiplayer, car combat title from Phantom Compass, Auto Age: Standoff, is being touted as a Twisted Metal meets Saturday morning cartoons, and I gotta say, they are using the correct buzzwords to get me interested.
Inspired by "your favorite classic Saturday morning cartoons", things are going to get even crazier on December 22nd, when a new version is set to be released. There are a ton of new features and new modes coming your way, plus new vehicles and weapons. You can ride or die against 11 other people in online combat, or even get down with four-player split screen with both local and online play. You can tweak and tinker with your ride and choose from four vehicle classes and over 30 different weapons, with a monster rock-synth soundtrack that is gonna make you nostalgic as all MF.
Available now for PC, the new update hits December 22nd. Watch the trailer and read the update details below, and get more info on the game here.
- Six new vehicles, bringing the grand total to 21.
- Two additional factions fighting for domination.
- Aerie, the new Deathmatch map for 2-8 players.
