Plox Neon, the new "action-packed puzzle experience" (everything is an "experience" these days, isn't it?) from Desert Owl Games released on Steam and Android iOS today, with a PS4 version heading your way January 9th. Inspired by Xionx and vintage arcade games in general, Plox Neon leans hard on its throwback visuals and sweet retro tunes.
In Plox Neon, players have to find the best way to clear areas of the map and trap monsters to earn points. The tough part is learning the characteristics of each monster and how they interact within the map to exploit their weakness, while minimizing the risk of being attacked. Think about it like Pac-Man on steroids. New levels are unlocked by reaching the clearing goal for each preceding level, and players can set their own high score for each level.
Plox Neon features 60 puzzle levels, 8 Monsters, each with their own strategies, a stars and high score system to keep your challenged, in addition to the retro arcade visuals for gaming hipsters.
You can find Plox Neon on Steam for PC and Mac, the google play store, the Apple app store and PS4 on January 9th.
