Normally, I don't really care about these kinds of stats; PUBG has 2 million this, Dark Souls hit 40 billion that, and so on. But this game actually looks pretty sweet, especially for a mobile title, and it just hit three hundred thousand pre-registrations, which, where I'm from, is called, "good buzz".
Created by the developers of Crab War, Light a Way is a fairy-tale inspired RPG, promising strategic depth and an "inspiring story-line". The story, as it is, regards a little girl in a land that's been invaded by shadow creatures, who, presumably, are total dicks. You must "defy the encroaching darkness and restore light to the world through courage, hope and love." I am assuming there is going to be some kind of offensive weapon involved as well. Call me old fashioned, but usually you fight back "encroaching darkness" with a machine gun or another similar, lead-firing projectile weapon. Or at least some fireballs.
A few countries have already gotten their hands on this, and none of them are where I live, specifically: Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, United Kingdoms, Philippines, Netherlands and Poland. If you live in one of these places, jump on googleplay, get the game, and tell me how it is.
In the meantime, I guess I'll just watch the trailer again. Sigh...
