Grave Danger, which has gotten mad props for taking a lot of inspiration from fan-favorite, The Lost Vikings, is on the cusp of launching an Ultimate Edition with 10 new levels, including all the newest mechanics, firewalls, dreaded "tippy platforms", and a rideable robotic bird, which hopefully is as cool as it sounds.
If you aren't familiar, Grave Danger is an action-adventure game with a colorful cast of playable characters for you to control; you got Dante the cowboy, Elliot the wizard, and Malice the reaper, all who have different abilities you'll need to utilize in order to solve puzzles and help one another to make it past obstacles, traps and baddies. There is a huge focus on teamwork here, since some of your characters can climb walls, while others can float across pits or double jump. You can play alone, or grab some buddies to control all three characters locally, provided that you have a big enough couch.
"Grave Danger: Ultimate Edition is a complete collection of all things Grave Danger, a game released December of 2016," said lead developer Cody Anderson. "In the ultimate edition, we have added 10 new levels, new mechanics such as a rideable bird to traverse hazardous environments, and many more types of puzzles. Along with the new features and content, we have fixed a number of bugs and improved upon existing levels."
If you've been dying for some Lost Vikings style action in the last couple decades, this might be as close as you get. Grave Danger: Ultimate Edition will be released on steam January 25th, 2018 on Steam.
