Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the characters in the next downloadable character pack. This downloadable character pack will feature heroes from Marvel Comics’ popular Champions comic book series, giving players the chance to wreck havoc with little used heroes like Amadeus Cho, Nova, Ironheart, Devil Dinosaur, Moon Girl, Viv, Wasp (Nadia Pym), and Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), which will expand the main game’s roster to over 200 super heroes and super villains.
The Champions are a group of teenage super heroes started by three Avengers disillusioned by the behavior of their elders and the general state of distrust by the people towards super-powered beings. Deciding to show the world what it "really means to be a super hero", they formed their own team and recruited other teenagers with similar ideals. It's an interesting premise, and it should pay off in-game.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is an all-new adventure, and the sequel to the well-received LEGO, Marvel Super Heroes. The original story-line is co-written by award-winning comic writer Kurt Busiek, and puts players into a cosmic battle in myriad Marvel locations across space and time. You'll face tons of super villains, and you will definitely tangle with everyone's least favorite time traveling punk, Kang the Conqueror.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
