We haven't been hearing a whole lot about the ol backwards compatible library for Xbox One lately. In November we got some new stuff, but over the holidays we didn't hear a damn thing. I guess the good people over at Microsoft need some vacation time too. And I'll allow it. This time.
But now it's a new year and the games are coming! This time around it's Xbox 360 titles that will grace our hallowed Xbox Ones, and I'll tell you what they are: Farcry 2, Sniper Elite V2, and Driver: San Francisco. If you have a physical disc of any of these three titles, just pop it in the tray and play. Otherwise you can find the games in the "Ready to Download' section in the "My Games and Apps" area, or just buy em in the Xbox Store.
I gotta tell you, if you haven't played Sniper Elite V2, get on it. There is something immensely satisfying about sending slow-mo bullets into Nazis from miles away. The game gets all Mortal Kombat about it, and you can see the bullet smash through skull and brain, or, if you want to be juvenile, you can just blow everyone's dongs off, which is also a totally acceptable thing to do when you need a Nazi to know you mean business.
Farcry 2, Sniper Elite V2, & Driver: San Francisco are available now.
