More Assassin's Creed coming your way with their newest expansion, The Hidden Ones, on January 23rd. Set four years after the events of the main campaign, The Hidden Ones adds a new region to the map – the Sinai – as well as new missions, weapons and more. It also raises the level cap from 40 to 45, so there's more room for you to grow your badass assassin as you take on the Roman occupiers.
Available as part of the Season Pass or as a separate purchase for $10, The Hidden Ones will also be foreshadowed in a free quest, Incoming Threat, which will be released soon. This new DLC is intended for players close to level 40, so if you're under that, be ready for a challenge. In addition to the new 45 level cap, two new crafting levels have been added to Bayek's gear, and the Sinai holds new armaments (including four new Legendary weapons) as well as new mounts and a new outfit.
In Assassin's Creed: Orgins, the player takes on the role of a Medjay named Bayek and his wife Aya, as they work to protect the people of the Ptolemaic Kingdom during a time of widespread upheaval: the Pharaoh, Ptolemy XIII, struggles to maintain his rule while attempting to expand his kingdom; his sister, the recently deposed Cleopatra, begins marshalling loyalist forces to launch a counter-coup against Ptolemy; and frequent incursions into the Kingdom by the Roman Republic under the command of Julius Caesar lead to fears of an imminent invasion. Bayek's role as a Medjay brings him and Aya into contact with the secretive forces manipulating these events and into becoming the first Assassins.
Assassin's Creed: Orgins- The Hidden Ones DLC will be available on January 23rd.
