Past Cure is a dark, supernatural psychological thriller that blurs the lines between dreams and reality. Promising an intense, cinematic, story-driven experience, Past Cure challenges the player to use their mind-bending mental abilities to survive.
The story is set around Ian, a former elite soldier who was put through years of torture and experiments. Ian now lives in a safe house with his brother, struggling with memory loss and the effects of the experiments he was forced to endure. In an attempt to tap into the hidden power of Ian's mind, his captors have left Ian with unrelenting nightmares, visions and unstable powers, like time manipulation and telekinesis. Driven by his need for the truth and a thirst for revenge; Ian, along with his brother, set out on a hunt for the masterminds of this conspiracy, hoping to uncover exactly what was done to him and why. As Ian makes his way through the criminal underworld, he is forced to use his budding powers more and more, but there's a catch; the more he uses his power, the further his mind becomes unhinged from reality.
You shoot up the place in a mix of stealth and action combat, then sink into your nightmares, which are more puzzle-oriented affairs. A twisted story unfolds as you kill your way to the truth, and you must master your dreams and your reality if you hope to survive.
