First things first; Darkest Dungeon is amazing. The Crimson Court offers up more of that soul-crushing goodness that you love, but a bug on the Switch version has players freaking out.
In the DLC there is a dungeon called the Courtyard, that is pretty much bigger than any dungeon before it. Unlike the other dungeons in the game, you can freely leave it and reenter, without fleeing like a scared little girl. You are supposed to leave and come back with a new or stronger party, since the dank dungeon is so big that it's pretty much impossible to complete in one go. Unfortunately, players are reporting that once they leave and attempt to return, they have to start all the way over, pretty much ruining the point of the dungeon. There are also reports that disease will rapidly spread throughout your party if the bosses in the Courtyard aren't taken out. In an already difficult dungeon that isn't working correctly, this is pretty much a game- killer.
Red Hook has already addressed this, and they sent the following tweet:
ATTN Switch Owners: We are currently internally testing a FIX for both the Controller Button Input issue and the Baron Quest Saving issue. Will be submitting to Nintendo as soon as resolved fixed.
Apparently they have already submitted a fix and are just waiting for Nintendo to respond. Luckily, you can turn off the Crimson Court DLC in the menus, which might be smart until they fix it.
