Spider-Man is getting yet ANOTHER chance to get it right, with this version published by Sony and developed by Insomniac, the makers of Ratchet & Clank, Spyro, Resistance 3 and more. The game will tell a new story about Spider-Man, one that is unconnected to the current line of films, comic books or games. Featuring an older, more experienced Spider-Man, the game will make use of both the wallcrawler and his alter-ego, Peter Parker.
Set in an open world, the game looks as if it borrows heavily from Rockstar's Batman series, all the way down to the stealth aspects, which, as you can see in the trailer, are used heavily. Parkour, environmental combat, quick time events and free-flowing combat will all be utilized to try and make fans feel like they are standing in the wall-crawler's boots. I'm rooting for it, mainly because there has only been like one good Spider-Man game in the history of the character.
