The fight for Mandragora Island continues in this reloaded edition of the critically acclaimed (by some), frantic, 2D side-scrolling action game, Mercenary Kings: Reloaded! The whole "Reloaded Edition" refers to an overall "redesigned, redefined, rebalanced game with additional content and expansion." In short, they are upgrading the bejeezus out of it.
There are new knives and gun parts to craft, a boatload of minor features and improvements over the original, like the ability to buy materials and stronger grenades, a menu previewing mission rewards, mission objectives displayed on the mini map, tips displayed during loading times and the big one, two brand new playable characters. There's Frigg, a resistance fighter who has joined the Mercenary Kings to fight the forces of CLAW, and thanks to her Olympic training, Frigg can jump faster than any of the other Kings, regardless of what kind of ordinance she's packing. Your other new fighter is C-Zar, a friendly automaton built by the Kings' communication expert Miss Zero. He's got futuristic feet thrusters that allow him to slow down his falls so he can get a strategic drop on CLAW troops.
If you are looking to scratch your 2D side-scrolling-Metal Gear-Contra itch, you'll get your chance on February 6th when Mercenary Kings: Reloaded releases for Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC and Vita
