Kingdom Hearts χ is a mobile RPG in the universe of Kingdom Hearts and serves as a prequel to the series, taking place almost 100 years before the other games. Players create their own character, customize their gender, hair and clothing, then choose accessories themed after both Square Enix and Disney universes present in the Kingdom Hearts series. Players navigate different worlds, defeating monsters known as the Heartless as they try to stop a world ending prophesy from coming true. The base game is free to play, with optional microtransactions, and the game has a multiplayer mode where teams of players take on Raid Bosses in the form of gigantic Heartless with high HP.
Beginning tomorrow at 12:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, Kingdom Hearts fans can sign up to attend the first-ever community event in the US for the critically acclaimed title. The celebration event will take place on April 15 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, and attendees can participate in various activities and try new in-game experiences that celebrate the world of the game. There will also be appearances by franchise Director Tetsuya Nomura and the game’s Producer, Hironori Okayama in addition to several other development team members that will be in attendance to provide their insight into the game.
