Final Fantasy Awakening is out now for android and iOS, and it's kind of a big deal for Final Fantasy fans. Featuring high-speed, action-based combat that requires strategy based on the various moves and fighting styles of each of the original Type-0 fourteen warriors, players can also recruit additional characters to build their preferred super-team. The more you play, the more you'll be leveling up, and you can claim in-game funds to enhance the skills and equipment of your entire team.
A large aspect of Final Fantasy Awakening is the original trinity battle form, where three players on the team can cast their ultimate strokes together on a given enemy. Based on this system, Final Fantasy Awakening has extended the diverse 1+2+2 battle form, where players can switch two characters on the team to the other two, in order to cast their final skills. This way, players can flexibly adjust their battle formation during battle, and can even summon Eidolons to shift the tide of battle.
If it sounds confusing, it really isn't- just watch this trailer to see what I'm talking about. While you're at it, check out those tasty graphics.
