New indie bullet hell, Aperion Cyberstorm is getting smash-nasty today, and you can play it on Switch, Wii-U, or Steam.
Up to five players can get in on the insanity, with hundreds of maps spread across three game modes: Vs., Onslaught and campaign. In the Campaign, you'll travel across four planets, through over 200 unique areas to find the team that shunned and abandoned you. What a bunch of dicks! The campaign can be run cooperatively, and the more players that jump in on your side, the harder the enemies become. You'll have to move fast and combine dynamic abilities and elemental effects to get you and your buddies out alive.
The Versus mode has self-contained areas with ability/element bundles dropped in randomly, and there are lava puddles and more to make your fight as hectic as possible. The Versus mode also comes with eight fully customisable battle variants, depending on whether you want a quick battle or a longer fight. Go it alone in Free-For-All, or buddy up with Team Battles, with the option to add a pack of bots for 5 player battles.
Onslaught is your typical wave based affair, where you'll choose your Ability set, and get to shooting.
