After the news of the Nintendo Switch Dark Souls HD Remaster, we've been getting all kinds of new DS stuff (this Dark Souls/Cuphead mashup was particularly great). Now we are getting a Dark Souls Trilogy Box, which will cost a whopping $450!
So, what do we get in this four hundred dollar+ deluxe box? The trilogy will include a copy of Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin and Dark Souls 3: The Fire Fades Edition. So, there's that. You also get all the game's soundtracks on CD, plus an item encyclopedia for each game, which actually would be super helpful. But wait! There's more! Also included are 10 art sheets and a fancy frame, plus some bookends, one of them sculpted to look like a bonfire and the other is a knight.
Now, a couple of bad things; one, this is only being released (thus far) for the PS4. Another slight potential setback is that it has only been announced for Japan.
From Software plans to release the Dark Souls Trilogy Box on May 24, the same day that Dark Souls: Remastered comes to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One in Japan. US residents will have to wait until May 25th.
