Behemoth's long awaited co-op adventure title, Pit People, will officially leave Early Access on Steam and Game Preview on Xbox One March 2nd. The game initially launched on Steam early access and Xbox One Game Preview last January (2017), and has had several (six!) updates on both platforms.
Described as a fast-paced, turn-based, co-op adventure, players will quest and explore the lands, customizing their fighters, recruiting strange species to your cause and searching out tasty loot. Pit People offers strategic gameplay with a single player story mode,a two player co-op story mode, and up to four players for 2v2 battles in the Arena.
In an official statement, Behemoth had this to say:
“Previously referred to as Game 4, this is the fourth game title by The Behemoth. Shortly before the release of BattleBlock Theater, we started working on something new. We schemed up a bunch of concepts and picked our strongest one. From there we fleshed out the lone survivor prototype!! As it grew stronger and stronger, we polished it, furnished it with delights, and added (gluten free?) sprinkles. Yes, as the chicken dictates, this game is of a genre we haven’t covered before and seek to breathe a new flavor into.”
Pit People will be available March 2nd, on Xbox One and Steam.
