If you've got $50, a Nintendo Switch and a desire to unload a magazine into someone's face from a first person POV, you are in luck. The Switch is getting a new FPS, and it's a fan-favorite; Payday 2.
Basically a playable version of the sweet, sweet 90's flick, Heat (without all the boring crap about Natalie Portman's childhood-depression and Al Pacino's cheating, weed smoking wife), Payday 2 boasts over 50 heists, more than 150 weapons and plenty of characters to choose from. Now out on the Switch, there are some all-new, Switch specific features, including rumble support and touchscreen main menu support, in addition to a new criminal, Joy. Joy is a tech-savvy Japanese woman, living in the United States with character-specific hacker perks and weapons. She also has a custom, LED light-based mask that you can use to change her appearance on the go.
The Switch version also adds a new local multiplayer mode to CRIME.NET, called CRIME.NET Local Play, which allows players to set up a local game and invite friends to heist together on the same local network.
Payday 2 is available now on the Switch.
