Fans of sifting through thousands of pieces of incrementally better/worse loot, get ready to rev up your OCD; reports are coming in that Blizzard is indeed working on porting Diablo 3 to the Switch. Last week, Blizzard released a tweet that showed a Diablo light being "switched" on and off (see what happened there?), leading Diablo fans to start speculating hard about a possible port.
Blizzard refused to fan the flames, saying that the tweet was "meant to be a fun community engagement piece" and that they had "nothing to announce" regarding the series coming to the Switch, but industry sources say different.
Reported by Eurogamer, sources say the game is indeed being brought over to the Switch, and that "the project is very much in production." There hasn't been any news regarding any of the Diablo III expansions being included in the Switch release, but that isn't surprising, given that none of this is even official yet.
Diablo III was released all the way back in 2012, and was then put out for the PS3 and the 360, eventually ending up on the PS4 and Xbox One in 2014.
