First Okami gets a Switch release, now the school GameCube game, Luigi's Mansion is getting a 3DS release this year.
Announced at the Nintendo direct reveal, Luigi's Mansion sees the famous, often overshadowed brother investigating a haunted mansion, rescuing Mario from the myriad ghosts that reside in it. Luigi leaves the power jumps and fire flowers behind, instead using a vacuum called the Poltergust 3000 to suck up ghosts.
The 3DS version isn't adding a lot of 3DS exclusive content (although the second screen will allow you to have the map visible at all times), but there is a Boss Rush Mode and the visuals have been spiffed up a bit.
Luigi's Mansion will release for 3DS this year.
