Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is set hundreds of years after the events of Wrath of the White Witch, and features two warring factions, one rat, one cat, in the town of Ding Dong Dell. Boy, that is a ridiculous sentence. During the events of the game, the mouse tribe whipped wholesale ass and took control of the kingdom. The story follows Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, a boy king of the cat tribe, who is kicked out of his castle and gets pissed off (naturally), setting out to reclaim his kingdom from those to have their feet up on his dining room table. in his quest, he is joined by Roland, a visitor from another world, and Tani, the daughter of the boss of air pirates.
All of those sentences are ridiculous.
But they are true.
In this new trailer, we get a focus on Roland Crane. Having suffered a tragedy in his home world, Roland is transported to Ni no Kuni and becomes a mentor to King Evan as he tries to rebuild his lost kingdom.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom releases for PC and PS4 on March 23rd.
