This game was announced all the way back in 2014, with a different tone and developer. It's finally seeing some movement, with EGX Rezzed in London’s Tobacco Dock serving as the first venue where the game will be playable for the public.

Hollowpoint takes place in a world decimated by natural disasters and global conflict (if I had a nickel...), with just a batch of wealthy Mega-Corps holding the strings of power. Players take on the role of a highly skilled mercenary team (known as a ‘Hollowpoints’) who takes on contracts for the Mega-Corps as they all attempt to bring their influence to bear over the world while weakening that of their rivals

“There’s always something special about getting to see gamers take on something you’ve been working so hard on for the first time,” said Simon Iwaniszak, Managing Director at Red Kite Games. “EGX Rezzed is such a great event for gamers who are fans of quality games - Hollowpoint is going to be in very good company, and it’s going to be a big moment for us seeing gamers take on Hollowpoint’s co-op focused action.”

Hollowpoint’s world is built around action packed combat, spread across 100% procedurally generated levels that more often than not, end in a boss battle. Each mission impacts the power and influence of the different Mega-Corps across the globe, with your actions determining the mission assignments sent your way, in a system that is a little reminiscent of the latest XCOM. It’s a dynamic, shifting world that can see you bolstering a CEO’s power base in one contract before taking them out under the auspices of a rival in the next.

Hollowpoint will be showing in ND9 within the North Dock of London’s Tobacco Dock between Friday 13th April through to Sunday 15th April.
