The March update for Destiny 2 is here, and there are a lot of changes that will hopefully liven up gameplay. Now, I'm not personally saying the gameplay is slow or that it needs improvement, but Bungie clearly does, since most of the tweaks from this update have to do with speed, from movement to supers recharging more quickly. Some weapons have been buffed as well, like sniper rifles, linear fusion rifles, pulse rifles, shotguns and sidearms, so, you know, almost all of them.
There are also some major changes coming to the Crucible including a weekly rotating playlist featuring Rumble, Mayhem and 6v6 Iron Banner. Power ammo drops will be more plentiful across the entire Crucible and your enemies will drop their Power Ammo when defeated, so you can run up on the come up.
There's a great little developer commentary video here, and they explain why they decided to make these types of serious gameplay changes. I love this kind of thing; instead of just changing stuff, they give you their reasoning, which helps gamers understand why devs do what they do, and here's a hint; it's not because they hate us.
Check out the trailer below for a quick rundown of what has changed, and you can read the official notes here to see every little detail of the update.
