It's time for some free stuff, friends and gaming neighbors. April is rapidly approaching, and that means more free games from Playstation Plus. It will be hard to top March, since we got the amazing Bloodborne and Ratchet and Clank, but April isn't too shabby, although it definitely isn't on that level.
First up, we got TrackMania Turbo, an Ubisoft title that goes great with a VR headset, but is absolutely playable without one. If you aren't in the know, TrackMania: Turbo is a racer with over 200 different tracks, spread across four different locations: Rollercoaster Lagoon, International Stadium, Canyon Grand Drift, and Valley Down & Dirty. There is a huge focus on speed and stunts, and the whole shebang is patterned after arcade racers.
The second game is Mad Max, and although it wasn't game of the year or anything, it got good reviews and is a good blend of Arkham Asylum style combat and Twisted Metal style vehicular destruction. I never got into it, but I hear it's pretty damn good, and the critics mostly agree with that assessment.
For those of you lagging behind on next-gen consoles, PS3 owners get In Space We Brawl and Toy Home, with Vita owners getting 99 Vidas and Q-Bert Rebooted.
