Publisher My.com and developer Owlcat Games just dropped a new trailer that shows off some new details for Pathfinder: Kingmaker, the first isometric computer RPG based on the popular Pathfinder roleplaying game. The trailer gives you a look at some of the lore behind the Stolen Lands, in addition to shedding some light on some of the new companions and game features you'll encounter.
Fans of the original tabletop game will recognize some characters and old companions in the trailer, and newcomers will be introduced to the world's, lore and inhabitants as they embark on a grand adventure, where in-game decisions will affect the environment and the people inhabiting it. Establish a kingdom to bring peace, hope, and prosperity to the land, or be a total dick, strip the lands and its inhabitants, take everything for yourself and plunge the land into darkness. I know which way I'm leaning...
The game is being developed by a team of industry veterans, with a dozen years of experience on major titles like Etherlods, Silent Storm, Heroes of Might&Magic V, Skyforge and narrative designer, Chris Avellone previously worked on Fallout 2, Planescape: Torment and Divinity: Original Sin II, and everyone is working under the supervision of Paizo, the creators of the franchise.
