Little Dragons Café is a life-sim that's shaking some things up, building their game around dragon rearing/raising and restaurant management. I realize this is strange, but stick with me. The story opens with a twin brother and sister learning to cook and manage a small café under their mother's tutelage. All is going fine until one morning the twin's mother falls into a deep sleep and won't wake up. Suddenly, a strange old man appears to inform them that they must raise a dragon in order to save her. Working together with three quirky café employees, the two siblings must figure out how to a raise a dragon and manage the family business while finding a way to save their mother.
The main thrust of the game looks like it will be on the restaurant expansion side of things. Players have to learn recipes, cook the food and generally improve their menu. You also need the raw ingredients, so you'll be learning to fish, grow crops, and hunt around for new ingredients that can be used to create baller-ass signature dishes. You can even meet and impress your neighbors, figuring out what they like to eat, then providing them with dishes that match up to their tastes.
The actual cooking appears to be a rhythmic minigame, with specific button presses accomplishing certain tasks. In the trailer, we see the twins putting food together to impress a potential chef, and dealing with a bitchy employee. True to life!
