One of the most popular business models has always been the free to play option (F2P). If you don't know, free to play is where you can play the game completely for free, but, if you want to either unlock certain parts of the game or access additional content, you'll need to drag out your wallet and pony up some dough. Fortnite has a Battle Royale mode that is completely free to play, however, there is also a Save the World campaign which is Player Vs Environment or PVE. A month or so back, they had a half-off sale and I jumped at the chance to experience this new campaign.
And I am glad I did and here’s why.
Not only is there a great story and campaign here with the chance to unlock some great heroes, weapons and gear. But as you progress during the game or even log in everyday you will get a reward. And one of the rewards is vbucks which, you can use either in this game or Battle Royale! I went ahead and gained a lot of progress and by the time I had around 900 Vbucks saved I bought the battle pass for free!
So if you are looking for a new way to play Fortnite you can either wait until the game is released free to play (which could be either later this year or next year) or drop the $39.99 to get this amazing title.
