This movie keeps looking better and better, and not only from an action and humor standpoint, but in terms of the unexpected. I have no idea where they are going to go with anything, and it's a great feeling. The new Avengers is coming, for example, and before you freak out, yes, yes; I'm excited, you're excited, it will be the best movie of our lives. But... and I'm just guessing here... there will be some kind of laser thing in the sky, right? A big, strong enemy will come down, the Avengers will overcome some internal adversity, someone will be betrayed, and then they will triumph at the zero hour. My point is, we know what those movies are going to be and how they are going to go; with Deadpool, I don't know what the hell is going to happen, what the stakes are going to be, who is going to show up, nothing. It's a nice feeling to have with a super hero flick.
The trailer shows off the X-Force roster, and I am pumped they added Shatterstar, even though he looks like he belongs in a Neo-Tokyo boy band. In addition to that, we have Domino (Zazie Beetz) and we found out that Terry Crews is playing Bedlam (sorry, G.W. Bridge fans).
Check out the trailer below, Deadpool 2 is coming out May 18th.
